NICU

TMT
TMT stands for Tread Mill Test. It is a screening tool used to test the effect of walking and exercise on the heart. In this test patient is asked to walk on a treadmill and our specialists measures the electrical activity of the heart with an ECG, and records the fluctuation of blood pressureevery few minutes. As per the standard protocol, patient is made to continue walking and exercising till target heart rate is reached, but if the patient develops any of the chest discomfort or if ECG changes drastically, the test is terminated.
